CONNECTION

Being that the site is surrounded by water and its location, I feel that the site has a connection to the City through the River. At the corner of my site you can see Ferries pass by, the Statue of Liberty, and Lower Manhattan, making a strong connection between Red Hook and all of New York.

    Good idea to focus on the conneciton with the river - you have started to look at it in different scales, but maybe take it further...how do people interact with the water on the riverbank?
    Is there different aspects of the connection with water - under/ over/ eyeline - most of the images you have included in your collage have a strong horizon line, is there a different way of considering connections with the river?

    Looking forward to your 3rd collage.
